The Samsung D780 Duos is the second "dual sim" mobile phone to be released this year. It's aim is to help those who have 2 mobiles or 2 sim cards for home and work to be able to make life much easier for themselves. So you can for example have an O2 contract work simcard in and a Vodafone PAYG that you use in your leisure time.

This idea has been around for years now but Samsung have brought the thinking & the mechanics to the process bang up to date. The D780 you see, is a dual phone, which means you can operate it like two handsets, taking calls to two numbers using two sim cards, with 'seamless transition' from one to the other number and you can readily choose which number to dial out from - How cool is that ?

Samsung have gone for a more conventional "candy bar" style phone with the SGH-D780. With neat lines, large display and well laid out keypad it really is a functional & useful piece of equipment.
